SSC SSA/UDC Recruitment 2023 – Apply Online for 272 Posts
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the online registration process for SSC SSA/UDC Exam. Candidates willing to apply for Senior Secretarial Assistant/Higher Division Clerk Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2020, 2021 and 2022 can visit SSC official website ssc.nic.in and apply for the same. Candidates should note that the online registration window will be open till November 7.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the online registration process for SSC SSA/UDC Exam. Candidates willing to apply for Senior Secretarial Assistant/Higher Division Clerk Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2020, 2021 and 2022 can visit SSC official website ssc.nic.in and apply for the same. Candidates should note that the online registration window will be open till November 7.
However, as per the schedule, the commission will conduct the computer-based examination in February-March 2024. Furthermore, it is important to note that the SSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 272 vacancies in the institute. Among the posts offered, the number of vacancies for recruitment year 2020 is 38, for recruitment year 2021 it is 153 and for recruitment year 2022, the number of vacancies is 81.
SSC SSA/UDC Exam: Important Dates
–– Dates for submission of online applications: October 18 to November 7
–– Last date and time for receipt of online applications: November 7 (23:00 hrs)
–– Time Table of Computer Based Examination (Tentative): February-March 2024
SSC SSA/UDC Exam: Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the above posts, the age of the candidate should not exceed 50 years as on the cutoff/cutoff date for 2020, 2021 and 2022 as determined by their respective Cadre Controlling Authority. However, there will be age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per government norms.
SSC SSA/UDC Exam Pattern
Computer Based Examination and Written Examination will be conducted in two parts: Part-1 will consist of two papers, ie, Paper-1 will be Computer Based Examination carrying 200 marks, and Paper-2 will be Written Examination. 100 marks. The questions in Paper-I will be objective type (multiple choice), while the questions in Paper-2 will be descriptive type. Note that paper I will carry negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in computer based examination.
Apart from that, 100 marks have been fixed for evaluation of service records (APARs). Marks obtained in Part II will be added to determine the rank of the candidate.
SSC SSA/UDC Exam: Selection Process
Additionally, the selection process includes a written test. Candidate should note that the examination will be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission in Delhi itself.
Meanwhile, candidates should note that after completing the online application form, its printed copy along with required documents should be duly forwarded by their respective service/cadre controlling officer to the correct address by 22 November.
