SSC GD Constable Exam 2015 – Question Paper Leaked

The Police detained 15 youths on alleged charges of facilitating cheating in the SSC exam held on Sunday. Later on, the detained youths were shown as arrested on fraud charges. A senior police official said that a raid was conducted at National Guest House in Jodhpur on Sunday afternoon and 15 youths were found solving some papers.

According to official the answer keys were found to be not matching with those of the examination held in the first shift. The police, however, claimed that two of them, identified as Suresh and Durga Prasad, both from Nagaur, had contacted the rest for selling the papers and one of them even admitted to have agreed to sell the paper for Rs 2 lakh. However, the police didn’t find anything which could confirm their involvement in copying. The official asserted that there was nothing like leaking of paper. After this, the cops themselves took those 13 youths to their examination center so that they could appear in the exam in the second shift. But by then, the examination had already started, so the center head didn’t allow them to take the exam.

The police, however, seized mobile phones and a laptop from Suresh and Durga Prasad but no money was recovered from them. They are investigating the matter now as a case of fraud they said.

Meanwhile in Jaipur, over 40,000 candidates appeared in this exam at 53 centres. The exam was held in two shifts. In the first shift, 20,544 students appeared in the exam, while the second shift witnessed 20,495 students taking the exam. In JPD College at Jawahar Circle, over 20 students reported 30 minutes late for the exam. When they were denied entry, they created a ruckus outside the college, causing inconvenience to the locals. As the news of busting of a paper-cheating gang reached Jaipur, the invigilators searched suspicious students but nothing was found. Soon after the exam, the students rushed towards railway stations and bus stands. At many places, they also created a ruckus.
