Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct Combined Graduate Level 2016. The registrations will commence from February 13, 2016 and will end on March 14, 2016. SSC CGL 2016 Tier 1 examination to be held on May 8 and May 22, 2016 and SSC CGL 2016 Tier 2 exam to be held on August 13 and 14, 2016. Check the Syllabus given below.

SSC Exam Pattern (Tier 1 and 2 in Details):-

Tier-1: Combined Graduate Level CGL (Preliminary) Examination

  • This section consists of two parts, with 100 marks for each part.
  • The first part consists of 100 objective-type questions on General Intelligence & General Awareness; and the second part includes 100 questions on Arithmetic.
  • Time allocated for each part is two hours, and the question paper is set in both English and Hindi language.

Tier-2: Combined Graduate Level CGL (Main) Examination

  • Candidates selected through Tier-1 exam are allowed to appear for Tier-2 Main exam. This is a written exam, consisting of conventional, subjective-type questions.\
  • The exam is conducted in two sessions per day.
  • The first session spans from 9.30 AM to12.30 PM, and the second session from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM. The exam includes a total of six papers.
