Uttar Pradesh School Holidays

In Uttar Pradesh, both government and private schools will observe a break from October 20th to 23rd for Diwali celebrations. With Diwali on October 20th and 21st, Govardhan Puja on October 22nd, and Bhai Dooj on October 23rd, students will enjoy five consecutive days off due to the preceding weekend.


Rajasthan's Extended Break

Rajasthan:
The state government has declared a 12-day holiday from October 13th to 24th, incorporating Diwali, Bhai Dooj, and other local festivals into the school calendar.


Jammu's Holiday Schedule

Jammu:
Schools in Jammu will be closed from October 19th until November 2nd. A notification from Manisha, an official at the Jammu Directorate of School Education, confirms that all government and recognized private schools up to higher secondary levels will observe these Puja holidays. Classes will resume on Monday, November 3rd.


Bihar's Holiday Announcement

Bihar:
The Bihar Education Department has announced that schools will be closed from October 20th to October 29th, 2025, for Diwali and Chhath Puja. Classes are set to resume on October 30th, 2025.
