Few days back, State Bank of India (SBI) issued notification for Probationary Officers Preliminary Examination 2018. The bank will conduct the examination for the same in the month of April-May 2018. Large number of candidates had applied for this examination and they are preparing for the exam to score good marks and get selected for the next round. Candidates aspiring for this examination are looking for the syllabus. So, here we are uploading the PO Pre Exam 2018 syllabus for the convenience of candidates so that they don’t have to look for syllabus:

State Bank of India conducts examination in three phases and these are:
Preliminary
Mains
Personal Interview
Phase (I) Preliminary Exam
The exam will be divided into 3 sections, which consists 100 objective type questions carrying 1 mark each. 0.25 marks will be deducted from each wrong answer. Duration of exam will be 1 hour.

Phase II: Mains Exam
Candidate who qualify Pre exam become eligible to appear for its Mains examination. This exam consists of 200 questions of objective type and 50 questions of subject type which carries 1 mark for each question. The paper is divided into 4 sections and the time duration will be 2 hours.

Phase III:- Personal Interview
Candidate who qualify phase II can attend personal interview for the final selection. It consists of Group Discussion of 20 marks and Personal Interview of 30 marks.
SBI PO Syllabus:
English Language: Reading Comprehension, Jumbled Sentences, Close Passages, Error Corrections.
Reasoning: Input-Output, Sentence Coding, Logical Reasoning, Syllogism, Puzzle/ seating arrangement, Data Sufficiency and Directions.
General Awareness, Marketing and Computer: Current Affairs, Banking Awareness, Marketing Awareness, Computer Awareness.
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Line Graphs, Bar Chart, Pie Chart, Tables, Probability.
