RRB ALP Exam Date 2024 – Tentative Exam Date Announced

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) vacancies in different Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs). Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can read the notification and apply online.

Application Fee:

• For All Candidates (except specified categories): Rs. 500/-
• For SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman, Female, Transgender, Minorities, and Economically Backward Class (EBC) Candidates: Rs. 250/-
• Payment Mode: Online (internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI)

Important Dates:

• Starting Date for Apply Online & Payment of Fee: 20-01-2024
• Last Date for Apply Online & Payment of Fee: 19-02-2024 (up to 23:59 Hrs)
• Modification window for corrections in the application form with the payment of a modification fee: 20-02-2024 to 29-02-2024
• Tentative Date of CBT 1 exam: June to August 2024
• Tentative Date of CBT 2 (Second Stage) exam: September 2024
• Date of Aptitude Test (CBAT): November 2024
• Shortlist for Document Verification: November 2024/December 2024
• Note: The Centralised Employment Notification for the next cycle is provisionally planned for issue in January 2025.

Age Limit (as on 01-07-2024):

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age Limit: 33 Years
• Age Relaxation is applicable as per Rules.

Qualification:

• Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in relevant trades.
• Note: Diploma/Degree (Relevant Engineering Disciplines) can be acceptable.

Vacancy Details:

• Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) vacancies are distributed across various RRB regions.
