RRB ALP 2024 CBT-I Exam Schedule Announced: Key Dates and Details

The Government of India, Ministry of Railways, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the recruitment for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) positions across various RRBs. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online.

• Application Start Date: 20 January 2024
• Application End Date: 19 February 2024 (up to 23:59 Hrs)
• Modification Window for Corrections: 20 February 2024 to 29 February 2024
• Tentative Date of CBT 1 Exam: June to August 2024
• CBT-I Exam Date: 28 August 2024 to 06 September 2024
• Tentative Date of CBT 2 Exam: September 2024
• Date of Aptitude Test (CBAT): November 2024
• Shortlist for Document Verification: November/December 2024
• Application Modification Window: 29 July 2024 (00:00 Hrs) to 07 August 2024 (23:59 Hrs)
• Next Cycle Recruitment Notification: January 2025 (Provisional)

Application Fee

• General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹500
• SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward Class (EBC) Candidates: ₹250
• Payment Mode: Online through internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI.

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2024)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 33 Years
• Age Relaxation: Applicable as per RRB rules.

Qualification

• Essential: Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in relevant trades.
• Note: Diploma/Degree in relevant Engineering disciplines is also acceptable.
