Revised Schedule for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Announced
Important Update for JEE Main 2026 Candidates
Candidates preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2026 Session 1 should take note of a significant update. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a revised schedule for the upcoming JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination.
Initially, the examination was set to take place from January 21 to January 30. However, the NTA has adjusted these dates. As per the latest notification, the examination will now occur from January 21 to January 29, 2026.
Updated Examination Dates
The JEE Main 2026 Session-1 will be conducted from January 21 to January 29. The Paper-1 (for BE and B.Tech) will be held on January 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28, 2026, across two shifts: the first from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Furthermore, the Paper-2 examination is scheduled for January 29, 2026, and will take place in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
This morning, January 8th, the NTA also released the exam city slips. Candidates can find their exam city details by following these steps:
- Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link titled "Advance City Intimation for JEE(Main)-2026 [Session-I] is LIVE!".
- Enter your login credentials after clicking the link.
- Once logged in, your exam city slip will be displayed on the screen.
- Make sure to print it out for your records.
