Patwari is responsible for proper upkeep and preservation of all revenue records in respect of all revenue estates falling within their jurisdiction and to girdawari all records of the area which comes under him. Patwari is the only person who gives all information about revenue to his seniors.

Rajasthan Patwari syllabus 2015 topic wise given below:-
General math: Questions featured in the exam will be of 12th class level.
- Average: An average is the sum of a list of numbers divided by the number of numbers in the list. In mathematics and statistics, this would be called the arithmetic mean. However, the word “average” may also refer to the median, mode, or other central or typical value.
- Simplification: Simplification is one of the most important part of Quantitative Aptitude section of any competitive exam.
- Profit & loss: A profit and loss statement (P&L) is a financial statement that summarizes the revenues, costs and expenses incurred during a specific period of time, usually a fiscal quarter or year.
- SI & CI: Simple interest is money you can earn by initially investing some money (the principal). A percentage of the principal is added to the principal, making your initial investment grow.Compound interest is interest added to the principal of a deposit or loan so that the added interest also earns interest from then on. This addition of interest to the principal is called compounding.
- Trigonometry: Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics that studies relationships involving lengths and angles of triangles. The field emerged in the Hellenistic world during the 3rd century BC from applications of geometry to astronomical studies.
- Partnership: A partnership is a single business where two or more people share ownership. Eachpartner contributes to all aspects of the business, including money, property, labor or skill. In return, each partner shares in the profits and losses of the business.
- Percentage: In mathematics, a percentage is a number or ratio expressed as a fraction of 100. It is often denoted using the percent sign, “%”, or the abbreviations “pct.”, “pct”; sometimes the abbreviation “pc” is also used. A percentage is a dimensionless number (pure number).
- Ratio & proportion: In mathematics, a ratio is a relationship between two numbers indicating how many times the first number contains the second. A proportion is two ratios that have been set equal to each other; a proportion is an equation that can be solved. When I say that a proportion is two ratios that are equal to each other, I mean this in the sense of two fractions being equal to each other.
- Field book: A field guide is a book designed to help the reader identify wildlife (plants or animals) or other objects of natural occurrence (e.g.minerals). It is generally designed to be brought into the ‘field’ or local area where such objects exist to help distinguish between similar objects.
- Mensuration: Mensuration is the branch of mathematics which deals with the study of Geometric shapes, their area, volume and related parameters.
- Height & distance etc.
General knowledge: This section tests the candidate’s awareness and knowledge of candidate on the society and surroundings. For every wrong answer marked in the exam negative marks will be penalized.
- Current affairs of country and State: Current affairs is a genre of broadcast journalism where the emphasis is on detailed analysis and discussion of news stories that have recently occurred or are ongoing at the time of broadcast.
- Indian politics: Politics in India take place within the framework of its constitution, as India is a federal parliamentary democratic republic in which the President of India is the head of state and the Prime Minister of India is the head of government. India follows the dual polity system, i.e. a double government which consists of the central authority at the centre and states at the periphery.
- Schemes of state government: Indian Government, at all levels, announces Welfare Schemes for a cross section of the society from time to time
- Literature & culture of Rajasthan: Rajasthan has artistic and cultural traditions & Literature which reflect the ancient Indian way of life. There is a rich and varied folk culture from villages which is often depicted symbolic of the state.
- Geography & history of Rajasthan
- Knowledge of District, local and state level Administration
- Land measurement etc: Land measurement units in India vary from state to state. Measurementof land in North India is done in units such as Bigha, Biswa, Marla, Kanal, Kattha etc
General Hindi: This section is involved to check the candidates grasping skills and grammatical knowledge of the candidate in Hindi language.
- Idioms & phrases: In the Idioms and Phrases section, you will find key phrases with an explanation, example sentences, and other ways of saying the same phrase.
- Synonyms: A Synonym is a word or phrase that means exactly or nearly the same as another word or phrase in the same language. Words that are synonyms are said to be synonymous, and the state of being a synonym is called synonymy
- Antonyms: Antonyms are words which have almost opposite meanings.
- Paragraph: A paragraph is a self-contained unit of a discourse in writing dealing with a particular point or idea. A paragraph consists of one or more sentences.
- Error correction: In telecommunication, information theory, and coding theory, forwarderror correction (FEC) or channel coding is a technique used for controlling errors in data transmission over unreliable or noisy communication channels.
- Noun, Pronoun, Adjective and adverb: A noun is the name of a person, place, thing, or idea. Whatever exists, we assume, can be named, and that name is a noun. A pronoun (I, me, he, she, herself, you, it, that, they, each, few, many, who, whoever, whose, someone, everybody, etc.) is a word that takes the place of a noun. Adjective is a describing word, the main syntactic role of which is to qualify a noun or noun phrase, giving more information about the object signified and An adverb is a word that modifies a verb, adjective, another adverb, determiner, noun phrase, clause, or sentence.
- Punctuation: The general rule is that a sentence ends with only one terminal punctuation mark. There are three options: the period, the question mark, and the exclamation point.
