The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has revised the class 5 exam timetable for the year 2024 due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The decision to reschedule the exams aims to ensure smooth conduct amidst electoral processes.

Revised RBSE Class 5 Exam Schedule: The RBSE class 5 exams will now take place from April 30 to May 4, 2024, with subjects distributed as follows:

  • April 30: English
  • May 1: Hindi
  • May 2: Mathematics
  • May 3: Environmental Studies
  • May 4: Sanskrit, Urdu, and Sindhi

Changes in Exam Timings: The board has altered the exam timings, shifting to a single shift from 8 am to 10:30 am. Previously, the exams were scheduled from 11 am to 1:30 pm.

Expected Results Date: The RBSE class 5 exam results for 2024 are anticipated to be declared in May/June 2024.

Guidelines for Disabled Students: According to official exam guidelines, regular students will have 1.5 hours to complete their papers, while disabled students will receive an additional hour. Those with disabilities such as blindness, visual impairment, polio, congenital paralysis, myopia, or deaf-mute conditions must provide a certificate confirming a disability of 40% or higher to avail of the extra time. Students with a 75% disability will be provided with writers.

RBSE Class 8 Exam Timetable: Additionally, the RBSE class 8 exams for 2024 are scheduled to commence from March 28 and conclude on April 4, 2024. The subjects and dates are as follows:

  • March 28, 2024: English
  • March 30, 2024: Mathematics
  • April 1, 2024: Science
  • April 2, 2024: Social Studies
  • April 3, 2024: Hindi
  • April 4, 2024: Third Language (Sanskrit/ Urdu/ Punjabi/ Sindhi/ Gujarati)

Examination Center Arrangements: RBSE Jhunjhuna's district in-charge, Shravan Kumar, has confirmed the establishment of 312 examination centers for smooth conduct. Additionally, 19 collection centers have been set up for question paper distribution. Approximately 31,457 students across the district are expected to appear for the 8th board examination.
