Students from the Punjab Board can finally breathe a sigh of relief as the release date for the Class 12 results has been officially confirmed. The Punjab School Education Board will unveil the results for the Intermediate examinations on May 13, 2026.
On May 11, the Punjab Board had already announced the Class 10 results, and now it is time for Class 12 students to receive their results. This year, over 2.65 lakh students participated in the Class 12 examinations, which took place from February 17 to April 4, 2026, across approximately 2,200 examination centers statewide. With the results approaching, students are eagerly anticipating their scores and future academic paths.
Press Conference for Result Declaration
The Punjab Board will announce the Class 12 results during a press conference, where officials will also provide insights into the overall pass percentage, district-wise performance, and a list of top achievers. Although the exact time for the announcement has not been disclosed, students are encouraged to prepare their roll numbers in advance to facilitate a smooth process when checking their scores online.

Merit List and Support Initiatives
Alongside the results, the Punjab Board will also release the merit list. Last year, Harsimrat topped the state with a perfect score of 500 out of 500, while Mandeep Kaur and Arshit followed closely with 498 marks each. To address the mental strain students may experience during this period, the Punjab Board has introduced a psychological support helpline. This initiative aims to assist students who may feel anxious or stressed about their results, encouraging them to maintain a positive mindset.
