NTA Releases Provisional Answer Keys for UGC-NET June 2026 Re-Examination
UGC-NET June 2026 Update
UGC-NET June 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the provisional answer keys for the re-examination of UGC-NET June 2026 in the subjects of English, Commerce, and Sociology. In addition to the answer keys, candidates can also access their recorded responses on the official website. Those who took the exam can review these materials and are allowed to submit objections regarding the questions until September 13.
The challenge window will be available until 11:59 PM on September 13. To submit a challenge, candidates must pay a processing fee of ₹200 for each question. The re-examination for English, Commerce, and Sociology took place at various locations across the country on September 9 and 10.
As per the official announcement, challenges must be submitted online. Any challenges sent through alternative methods—such as email, fax, or postal mail—or without the required fee will not be considered. If a challenge is validated by subject experts, the necessary corrections will be applied uniformly to all candidates for that subject. Additionally, the ₹200 processing fee will be refunded for any questions deemed valid.
The NTA has stated that the finalized answer key, after reviewing the challenges, will be regarded as the official one. No further challenges or complaints regarding the answer key will be accepted once the challenge window closes or after the results are announced.
Challenge Window and Payment Details
The challenge window will remain open until 11:59 PM on September 13. Candidates can pay the processing fee using debit cards, credit cards, or net banking by the same deadline. Challenges will not be considered without the payment of the processing fee.
Subject matter experts will assess the challenges submitted by candidates. If a challenge is found valid, the provisional answer key will be updated, and candidates' responses will be evaluated based on this revised final answer key for result preparation and declaration. The updated final answer key will be made available on the official website before the results are announced. Candidates are encouraged to check the official NTA and UGC-NET websites for the latest updates and to rely on official information provided by the NTA.
