New Facility for Duplicate Scorecards



The National Testing Agency (NTA) has rolled out a new service allowing candidates to request duplicate scorecards if their originals are lost or damaged. This service is available for individuals who took part in NTA examinations such as JEE Main, NEET UG, and CUET PG. Before proceeding with the application for a duplicate scorecard, candidates are encouraged to check if their scorecard is accessible on DigiLocker. If found, they can download it directly, negating the need for a separate request.


Check DigiLocker Before Applying

The NTA strongly recommends that candidates verify their DigiLocker accounts prior to applying for a duplicate scorecard. Many candidates may find their scorecards already uploaded there, allowing for easy download. An application for a duplicate scorecard should only be made if the scorecard is not available on DigiLocker.


Application Process for Duplicate Scorecards

Candidates must complete the application form for a duplicate scorecard as outlined in Annexure-1 of the NTA notification. Until an online application system is established, candidates should use the prescribed format for their applications. It is essential to include all necessary documents when submitting the application, following the guidelines set by the NTA.


Submission of Documents

Initially, candidates are required to send their application-related documents via email. Following this, a hard copy of the application must also be dispatched to the NTA using Registered Post or Speed Post. It is important to note that an application sent solely via email will not be accepted; the hard copy must arrive at the NTA within the specified deadline. Therefore, candidates should ensure they have all required documents and adhere to the application process carefully.
