The NTA has outlined tentative dates for 14 national-level exams scheduled from December 2026 to March 2027, including significant assessments like JEE Main, CUET UG, and UGC NET.


Each year, a vast number of candidates participate in these exams. December 2026: The year will conclude with five major examinations:



  • RIMC (Rashtriya Indian Military College): December 6, 2026


  • SWAYAM Examination: December 8 to 12, 2026


  • RMS (Rashtriya Military School): December 13, 2026


  • UGC-NET (December Session): December 14–18 and 21, 2026


  • CSIR UGC-NET (December): December 20–21, 2026



January 2027: The new year will kick off with significant exams:



  • Army Cadet College (ACC): January 4, 2027


  • SHRESHTA-NETS & NIFT Entrance: January 10, 2027


  • JEE Main (Session 1): January 22–24 and 28–30, 2027


  • All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE): January 31, 2027



February and March 2027: Management exams and CUET will take place:



  • CMAT (Management Entrance): February 7, 2027


  • NITTT (Parts 1 & 2): February 26–27, and March 5 & 7, 2027
