New Recruitment Rules Announced for Kendriya Vidyalaya Vacancies

New Recruitment Rules for Kendriya Vidyalaya: Exciting news has emerged regarding new hiring procedures at Kendriya Vidyalayas. Significant changes have been made to the recruitment process, fundamentally altering the selection criteria. Teacher recruitment across 1,253 Kendriya Vidyalayas operating both domestically and internationally will now occur in three phases, moving away from the previous reliance on written exams and interviews.

The new recruitment will involve a preliminary exam, a main exam, and an interview, following the approval of the selection process by the Ministry of Education on the 23rd. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is preparing to implement this new system at its headquarters. Dr. P. Dev Kumar, a joint commissioner of the Sangathan, communicated this in a letter to the committee on March 20.

To establish guidelines for the three-tier examination process, a high-level committee meeting is being organized at the headquarters, which will include all regional representatives. A task force will be formed under the commissioner's guidance to oversee the entire process from examination to final selection, ensuring transparency.

Initially, the recruitment will commence with the preliminary exam, followed by the main exam and interviews. Currently, there are a significant number of vacancies within Kendriya Vidyalayas. Reports indicate that approximately 16,000 to 17,000 positions are currently unfilled, with advertisements for new recruitments expected to be released soon. These positions include PRT, TGT, PGT, clerks, and peons, with announcements anticipated by April.
