Flexible Admissions Under the New Education Policy
Under the newly implemented education policy, students now have the opportunity to transfer between universities during their courses. Academic credits earned in previous years will remain valid even after transferring to a different institution. Additionally, students enrolling under this policy will receive an Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID, which will track their academic achievements.
Implementation of the New Education Policy
Previously, graduation programs lasted three years, allowing students to migrate from one college to another but not to switch universities. If a student transferred mid-course, their initial academic scores would be rendered invalid. However, the new policy introduces multiple entry and exit options for students.

With the new education policy, graduation courses have been extended to four years. This allows students to complete a year of study and then transfer to another university to continue their education. Their academic records will be maintained under the ABC ID.

This system will keep a record of tutorials, classes, lab work, practicals, and internships undertaken by students throughout the year. Students must achieve a minimum score, which will be linked to their Academic Bank of Credits ID.
When a student transfers from one university to another mid-course, their credit ID will remain valid at the new institution, facilitating the admission process. Essentially, the ABC ID will serve as a digital score repository, documenting the institutions attended and the student's performance, reflecting the credits earned throughout their academic journey.
