Overview of NEET UG Counseling 2025
NEET UG Counseling 2025: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has unveiled the seat matrix for the third round of NEET UG counseling, which pertains to the All India 15% Quota. This round will allocate a total of 4,128 MBBS seats, including 99 designated for AIIMS. Out of these, 2,286 seats are available in government medical colleges under the 15% quota, while the rest are distributed among private and deemed medical institutions. Additionally, dental colleges will provide 604 BDS seats and 189 B.Sc. Nursing seats.
Seat Distribution Across Universities
In terms of internal quotas, Delhi University has nine MBBS and three dental seats available. Indraprastha University will fill 41 MBBS and 14 dental seats through this counseling process. Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will allocate two MBBS and 15 dental seats, while Aligarh Muslim University will fill 14 MBBS and 12 dental seats. Furthermore, JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal campuses have 14 MBBS seats available.

- Registration: October 5
- Choice Filling: Until October 5
- Choice Locking: October 5 from 4 PM to 11:55 PM
- Seat Allotment: October 8
- Joining and Reporting: October 9 to 17
There are 9,405 seats categorized as virtual vacancies across government, deemed, and other institutions. This includes 1,168 BDS seats and 164 B.Sc. Nursing seats. The virtual vacancy seat matrix comprises seats from candidates who participated in the first and second rounds and opted for upgrades in the third round. Candidates will have visibility of these seats during the choice filling process.
