On Monday, Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan conducted a review of the state governments' readiness for the NEET (UG) re-examination. He instructed all state governments, Union Territories (UTs), and central agencies to adhere strictly to security protocols to ensure a smooth examination.
The Home Secretary emphasized the need for states and UTs to facilitate easy travel for students attending the NEET (UG) re-examination, with the Railway Board Chairman promising full support.
The meeting included key figures such as the Railway Board Chairman, Secretaries from the Departments of School Education & Literacy, Higher Education, and Posts, along with Directors General (DGs) from CRPF, CISF, BCAS, and NTA, as well as senior officials from the Ministries of Defence and Health & Family Welfare.
