Name of the Exam: Diplomate of National Board Centralized Entrance Test- Super Specialty

Last date for online registration: 22nd October 2015
Date of DNB-CET-SS: 27th November 2015
Declaration of results: 25th January 2016
Educational qualification:
- The candidates should have acquired post graduate degree in medical. The candidates who have provisional pass certificates by December 31, 2015, are eligible to apply.
- The medical qualification of the candidates should be recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 or DNB qualifications.
Paper pattern of CETSS – Medical and Neonatology:
Section I: The first section consist of 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with single correct response is mandatory for all candidates. (The total duration of the first section is 180 minutes)
Section II: The second section comprise of 30 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) Medical Genetics is for those candidates only who wish to pursue DNB- Medical Genetics. (The total duration of the second section is 30 minutes.)

National Board of Examinations (NBE) is established in 1975 at New Delhi. It is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health, Government of India. Its work is to standardizing postgraduate medical education and examination in India. The postgraduate degree awarded by the National Board of Examinations is called the Diplomate of National Board (DNB). The list of recognized qualifications awarded by the Board in various specialties and super-specialties are approved by the Government of India and are included in the First Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.The National Board of Examinations conducts the largest portfolio of examinations in the field of medicine in India and perhaps at a Global level. During 2014, the NBE conducted exams for a record 150,000 medical graduates and specialists.
