MHT CET 2026 Update: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has announced a special two-day registration opportunity for candidates who missed the initial application deadline. This window will be open on April 15 and 16, 2026, but applicants will incur an additional late fee of ₹500.


Reason for the Special Registration:
This initiative was implemented in response to numerous requests from candidates seeking another chance to apply. Only those who did not register earlier are eligible for this opportunity. Candidates who have already submitted their applications for both attempts do not need to reapply.


APAR ID Requirement:
Applicants must generate their APAR ID through DigiLocker before they can proceed with their application. The application cannot be completed without this ID.


Exam Schedule and Important Information:
The second phase of MHT CET 2026 is scheduled from May 10 to May 16, covering both the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) streams. The first phase took place from April 11 to April 20.


No Modification Allowed:
The CET Cell has stated that candidates using this special registration window will not have the option to edit their application forms. It is crucial for applicants to ensure all information is accurate before submission, as changes will not be permitted afterward.
