Maharashtra Board Exam Timings Changed 2024: No Extra Reading Time for SSC & HSC

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has introduced changes to the timings of the Class 10 and 12 board exams for 2024. According to the updated schedule, students will no longer receive an additional 10 minutes for reading the question papers.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has introduced changes to the timings of the Class 10 and 12 board exams for 2024. According to the updated schedule, students will no longer receive an additional 10 minutes for reading the question papers. The decision aims to prevent incidents of question paper leaks during the reading time, and the total exam duration has been adjusted to 3 hours and 10 minutes.

Revised Exam Timings:

  • Duration: Students will now have 3 hours and 10 minutes to attempt the Maharashtra board exams.

Maharashtra Board Class 10 Timetable 2024:

  • March 1: First Language: Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Sindhi, Bengali, Punjabi; Second or Third Language: German, French
  • March 2: Multi Skill Assistant Technician/Introduction to Basic Technology, Automotive Service Technician, Store Operation Assistant, etc.
  • March 4: Second or Third Language: Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Sindhi, Bengali, Punjabi; Second or Third Language: Composite Course
  • March 7: First Language (English), Third Language (English)
  • March 9: Second or Third Language: Hindi; Second or Third Language (Composite Course): Hindi
  • March 11: Second or Third Language: Urdu, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Pali, Ardhamagadhi, Persian, Arabic, Avesta, Pahalavi, Russian; Second or Third Language (Composite Course): Urdu, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Pali, Ardhamagadhi, Persian, Arabic, Avesta, Pahalavi, Russian, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Sindhi, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati

  • March 18: Science and Technology (Part 2), Physiology, Hygiene & Home Science (Only for eligible Divyang candidates)
  • March 20: Science and Technology Part-2
  • March 22: Social Sciences Paper-1: History and Political Science
  • March 26: Social Sciences Paper-2: Geography
