The Maharashtra state Common Entrance Test (CET) cell has recently announced a revision in the MAH LLB 5-year CET 2024 exam date due to a clash with the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2024 law exam. This change aims to alleviate concerns raised by numerous candidates regarding the overlapping examination schedules.

Revised Exam Date:
The MAH LLB 5-year CET 2024, originally scheduled for May 3 and later anticipated to be on May 22 before May 20, will now take place on May 30, as confirmed by an official notice from the CET cell.

Reason for Revision:
The decision to alter the examination date was made in response to the requests from candidates highlighting the clash between the CUET 2024 Legal Test and LLB 5 Yrs CET examination.

Notification Process:
Candidates are advised to keep an eye on their email and SMS for notifications regarding the issuance of admission cards for the MAH 5-year LLB CET 2024.

Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be eligible for the MAH LLB 5-year CET 2024, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

  • Completed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Minimum aggregate marks required:
    • UR, EWS, and OMS categories: 45%
    • SC and ST categories: 40%
    • VJNT, SC, OBC categories: 42%

Application Details:
Interested and eligible candidates were able to apply for the exam until April 15 through the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.

The application fee varied as follows:

About CET Cell Maharashtra:
The Maharashtra government established CET Cell Maharashtra, also known as the State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra State, to conduct and manage various common entrance tests (CETs) for admission to professional programs within the state.
