Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) UG Admission 2026
JNU UG Admission 2026: Exciting news for students aspiring to enroll in undergraduate programs at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). The university has initiated the admission process for its Undergraduate (UG) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) courses for the academic year 2026-27. The online registration portal is now open, allowing candidates to apply until July 22. This is a fantastic chance to join a prestigious institution like JNU.
Admissions for JNU's UG programs this year will rely on CUET-UG scores. The university provides bachelor's degrees in diverse fields, including BA (Honours) in Foreign Languages and BSc in Ayurveda Biology. Furthermore, various short-term Certificate of Proficiency programs are available, offered through the School of Language, Literature and Cultural Studies and the School of Sanskrit and Indic Studies.
No Interviews This Year
For the current admission cycle, there will be no oral examinations or viva-voce interviews for the BA (Honours), BSc (Honours), or COP programs. Selection will be determined solely based on a merit list generated entirely from CUET-UG scores. Given the limited number of seats and high competition, admissions will strictly adhere to merit-based criteria.

For Certificate of Proficiency: A minimum of 45% marks in Class 12 is also required.
Admission Process for B.Tech
JNU is not only known for its language and arts programs but also offers engineering courses. Admission to the B.Tech program is based on JEE Main scores.
