Overview of JEECUP 2026



JEECUP Exam 2026: The Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (JEECUP 2026) is scheduled to take place from June 2 to June 9. The examination authority has issued the admit cards along with the exam guidelines. Admit cards for Groups A, E1 (Biology), and E2 (Mathematics) were made available on May 27, 2026, while the remaining groups' hall tickets were released on May 29, 2026. Candidates can download their JEECUP hall tickets from the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in.


Admit Card Download Process

To access their admit cards, candidates need to input their Aadhaar number on the official portal. The UPJEE(P) or JEECUP 2026 serves as a state-level examination for those aspiring to enroll in government and private polytechnic institutions across Uttar Pradesh.


Exam Format and Instructions

Exam Format:


The JEECUP 2026 will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. Questions will be presented sequentially in both Hindi and English, with each examination shift lasting 2 hours and 30 minutes.


The test will feature objective-type, multiple-choice questions, with a total of 100 questions per paper. Each correct answer will earn four marks.


Pre-Exam Requirements

Candidates must arrive at the examination venue two hours before the exam starts to complete the biometric registration process.


Upon checking their designated room on the seating plan, candidates should head to the examination hall and log in using their Login ID and Password on the computer assigned to their Roll Number.


Prohibited Items and Identification

Candidates are not allowed to bring any stationery items into the exam hall, except for a black or blue ballpoint pen. The use of log tables, electronic calculators, mobile phones, and any communication devices is strictly forbidden.


Possession of any banned items will be considered an instance of unfair means. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their Admit Card and Aadhaar Card (or another photo ID) to the exam.


Entry Regulations

Those without an Admit Card will be denied entry into the examination hall. According to the official notification, mock tests will be accessible on the official portal two days prior to the exam to help candidates familiarize themselves with the online exam format.
