Upcoming Registration for JEE Main 2027
The registration process for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main) 2027 Session 1 is expected to commence soon. Last year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) opened applications from October to November. Therefore, students intending to take the JEE Main 2027 should prepare their necessary documents ahead of time to ensure a smooth application process.
Essential Documents for Application
What documents are needed?
According to the NTA, students must ensure their documents are current and meet the following criteria before completing the JEE Main application:
- Aadhaar Card: Ensure the Aadhaar card has the correct name, date of birth (matching the Class 10 certificate), a recent photograph, address, and father's name.
- UDID Card (for Persons with Disabilities): The UDID card should be valid and updated as necessary.
- Category Certificate: Students from EWS, SC, ST, or OBC-NCL categories need to obtain a new category certificate or update their existing one. Additionally, a valid email address and phone number should be prepared.
JEE Main 2027 Exam Schedule
Exam Dates for Session 1
The NTA has confirmed the dates for the JEE Main Session 1 exam, which will take place over six days: January 22–24 and January 28–30, 2027. A reserved date of January 31, 2027, has also been set aside for the exam.
Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main
Who can apply?
To be eligible for the JEE Main exam, candidates must have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as their subjects. Students currently in Class 12 can also apply. Importantly, there is no age restriction for this examination.
Application Fees for JEE Main 2027
Fee Structure
The application fees are as follows:
- Unreserved category: ₹1,000
- General-OBC and General-EWS categories: ₹900
- Female candidates from Unreserved, General-OBC, and General-EWS categories: ₹800
- SC, ST, Transgender, and PwD categories: ₹500
Candidates can pay the application fee online using debit cards, credit cards, or net banking.
