Overview of JEE Main 2026 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has unveiled the preliminary timeline for the JEE Main 2026. As per the announcement, Session 1 is slated to occur from January 21 to January 30, 2025, while Session 2 is scheduled for April 1 to April 10. Students eager to apply are now looking forward to the start of the registration process. It is essential for students to register on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in, to participate in both sessions. Candidates who take part in Session 1 will also have the opportunity to sit for Session 2. Those who succeed in JEE Main will then be eligible for JEE Advanced.


Registration Timeline for JEE Main 2026 Session 1:
According to the NTA's tentative schedule, the registration for Session 1 is expected to commence in October, although the official dates have yet to be confirmed. Reports suggest that the application process might kick off in late October. The examination will be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format across multiple shifts at designated NTA centers nationwide.


Previous Year Registration Dates:
For JEE Main 2025, the registration for Session 1 opened on October 28, 2024, with the exam taking place from January 22, 2025. The registration for Session 2 started on January 31, 2025, and the exam was held on April 2, 2025.


JEE Main 2024 Schedule:
The registration for Session 1 of JEE Main 2024 began on November 1, 2023, with exams conducted from January 24 to February 1, 2024. Session 2 registration started on February 2, 2024, and the exams were held from April 4 to April 15, 2024.


JEE Main 2023 Registration:
The application process for JEE Main 2023 commenced on December 15, 2022, with exams conducted from January 24 to February 1, 2023. Session 2 registration began on February 15, 2023, and the exams took place from April 6 to April 12, 2023.


First JEE Main Exam in 2019:
The JEE Main exam was first conducted by NTA in 2019, featuring two sessions. Registration for the January 2019 session opened on September 1, 2018, with exams held from January 8 to January 12, 2019. The application process for the April session began on February 8, 2019, with exams conducted from April 7 to April 12, 2019.
