On the fourth day of the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination, the first shift has successfully concluded. Feedback from students indicates that the exam's overall difficulty was moderate.


The first shift of today's exam has wrapped up, with students reporting varying levels of difficulty across subjects. Mathematics was perceived as challenging, Chemistry was lengthy, while Physics was seen as more straightforward. The second shift is scheduled to take place from 3 PM to 6 PM.


Insights from the Third Day's Exam

The first shift of the third day was also rated as moderately difficult. Ajay Sharma, the National Academic Director at Aakash Educational Services Limited, noted that the morning shift paper presented an easy to moderate difficulty level. All three subjects—Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics—were balanced in terms of difficulty, although Mathematics posed a slightly greater challenge.


Candidates who participated in the second shift of the third day described the exam as moderately difficult as well. Initial feedback suggested that Mathematics was the hardest, while Chemistry and Physics were easier to manage.


Expected Results Timeline

The results for JEE Main 2026 are anticipated to be released in the second week of February, likely between the 11th and 14th, following last year's trends. For reference, the January session of JEE Main last year took place from January 22nd to 30th, with results announced on February 11th.
