JEE Main 2026 Schedule Overview


JEE Main 2026 Dates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially revealed the timetable for the JEE Main Sessions 1 and 2. As per the announcement, the first session is set for January, while the second session will take place in April. Specifically, the JEE Main Session 1 exam is scheduled from January 21 to 30, and Session 2 will occur from April 1 to 10.


Application Process Details

The online application process for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will commence in October 2025, although the exact date has yet to be confirmed. For Session 2, the application window will open in the last week of January 2026.


Expansion of Exam Cities

Increase in Exam Locations:

Aadhaar Authentication Process

On September 29, 2025, the NTA released a notice aimed at easing the application process for JEE Main 2026 candidates. This advisory is intended to assist millions of applicants nationwide by promoting timely and accurate information updates. The NTA will retrieve the candidate's name, date of birth, gender, photo, and address from UIDAI through Aadhaar authentication. However, since the names of parents or guardians are not included in Aadhaar, candidates must manually input these details in their online application forms.
