This window for correcting the photograph opened on January 4, 2024. As per specifications, the photograph should be recent, either in color or black and white, showing 80% of the face (without a mask), including ears, against a white background. The JEE Main session 1 exam 2024 is scheduled from January 24 to February 1, 2024. According to a recent notice from NTA, candidates appearing for the engineering entrance exam will undergo frisking and biometric attendance even after toilet breaks during the exam.

The city intimation slip and admit card for JEE Main session 1 will be released in due course.

Specifications for Uploading Photograph in JEE Main 2024 Session 1:

  • Passport size photograph (size: 10 kb to 200 kb)
  • Spectacles allowed only if regularly used.
  • Polaroid and computer-generated photos not accepted.
  • Applications without photographs will be rejected.
  • No attestation required for the photographs.
  • Candidates advised to keep 6 to 8 passport-size color photographs with a white background.
  • Fabricated, hand-made, or computer-generated photographs will lead to application rejection.
  • Applications not adhering to these instructions or having unclear photographs will be rejected.
