Exam Schedule for IIT JAM 2026

For the academic year 2026-27, approximately 3000 seats will be available across 22 IITs for postgraduate courses. The IIT JAM 2026 examination is scheduled to take place in two shifts on February 15.

IIT JAM 2026 Application Fees

The application fee for IIT JAM 2026 is set at Rs 1000 for candidates belonging to SC/ST, women, and Divyang categories for one paper. For all other candidates, the fee is Rs 2000. Additionally, reserved category candidates applying for two papers will need to pay Rs 1350, while others will pay Rs 2700. A fee of Rs 300 will also be charged for any changes in exam city, paper, category, or gender.
