Registration Now Open for UCEED and CEED 2026



The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has initiated the registration process for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) and the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) for the year 2026. Candidates can submit their applications online until October 31, 2025. For those who miss this deadline, applications will be accepted with a late fee from November 1 to November 7, 2025. The examinations are scheduled to take place on January 18, 2026.

The application window without late fees is open until October 31, 2025. Candidates who need additional time can apply from November 1 to November 7, 2025, by paying a late fee of ₹500. Both exams will occur on January 18, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.


Eligibility Criteria for UCEED and CEED 2026

UCEED 2026: Applicants must have completed their 12th grade in any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) in 2025 or be taking the exam for the first time in 2026.


CEED 2026: Candidates must be pursuing a 3-year undergraduate degree, diploma, or master's degree after completing 10+2, or be in their final year of examination by July 2026. Those completing a GD Arts Diploma (10+5) by July 2026 are also eligible.

All other categories: ₹4000


Foreign candidates from SAARC countries: ₹200


Foreign candidates from Non-SAARC countries: ₹500
