Eligibility Criteria for HTET 2026

HTET 2026 Eligibility:


For Level 1 (PRT), candidates must have completed 12th grade with a minimum of 50% marks and hold a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education/B.E.Ed. Graduates with a diploma in Elementary Education are also eligible to apply.


For Level 2 (TGT), candidates should possess a graduation degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education. Those with a graduation degree along with a B.Ed. or Special B.Ed. Degree can also apply.


For Level 3 (PGT), candidates must have a Master's degree with a minimum of 50% marks and a B.Ed. The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 38 years.
