Haryana Board Exam 2026 Overview



The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has introduced a significant change for the 2026 academic year. In line with the National Education Policy (NEP), the board will now hold Class 10 and 12 examinations biannually. This initiative aims to provide students with an additional chance to enhance their scores, thereby reducing academic pressure. This policy will apply to all students enrolled in Secondary, Senior Secondary, and Gurukul Vidyapeeth programs.


Application Process for Retaking Exams

Students who participated in the February-March 2026 examination and are unhappy with their results can apply for a retake. The online application process began on April 4, 2026, and will close on April 10, 2026. Interested students can submit their applications through the official website, bseh.org.in. They may choose to retake exams in up to three subjects, with an application fee of ₹1,000 per subject. This opportunity is particularly advantageous for those who need to improve in one or two subjects.


Examination Schedule and Evaluation Process

The Haryana Board conducted the Class 10 and 12 exams from February 25 to April 1, 2026. Currently, the evaluation of answer sheets is underway. Class 12 evaluations are set to occur from April 3 to April 28, 2026, while Class 10 evaluations will take place from April 2 to April 24, 2026. Evaluation centers have been established across various districts, with 75 centers and 6,969 teachers for Class 10, and 52 centers with 5,009 teachers for Class 12. The Board aims to ensure a transparent and timely evaluation process.


Expected Release Date for Results

The results for Class 10 and 12 are anticipated to be announced by the second week of May. Once the evaluation is finalized, students' scores will be uploaded to the Board's official website, allowing them to check their results and download their digital mark sheets.

  2. Click on the link for 'Haryana Board 10th/12th Result 2026' on the homepage.

  3. Input your Roll Number and Date of Birth.

  4. Your mark sheet will be displayed on the screen.

  5. Download and save it to your device.
