IIT Guwahati has confirmed that essential core engineering subjects such as Civil Engineering (CE), Electronics and Communications (EC), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Geology and Geophysics (GG), Instrumentation (IN), Production and Industrial (PI), and Geomatics Engineering (GE) will not be scheduled for February 8.
GATE 2026 Exam Schedule and Application Details
The GATE 2026 examination will take place on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The application process commenced on August 25, with the deadline for submitting applications without late fees set for September 28. Candidates can submit applications with a late fee until October 9.
