Important Update for GATE 2026 Candidates: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has officially released the admit card for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. Candidates who registered for the exam can now download their admit cards online. Initially set for release on January 3rd, the admit cards are now accessible. To download, candidates should visit the GATE website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The GATE 2026 examination is scheduled to take place from February 7th.


Steps to Download the GATE 2026 Admit Card

Follow these steps to download your admit card:
1. Navigate to the official IIT GATE website at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
2. On the homepage, locate and click on the link for GATE Admit Card 2026.
3. A new page will open where you need to enter your login credentials.
4. After inputting your details, click the submit button to view your admit card.
5. Review the information on the admit card and print it out for your records.


Exam Schedule and Format

Exam Dates:
The GATE 2026 exam will span four days: February 7th, 8th, 14th, and 15th, 2026. Notably, these dates fall on weekends, with the first two days being Saturday and Sunday, followed by another weekend. Each day will feature two shifts: the first from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
