GATE 2025 Exam Dates Announced by IIT Roorkee: Eligibility Criteria and Details

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025, organized jointly by IISc and seven IITs, including IIT Roorkee, will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The exam will be held in two sessions each day: one in the morning (forenoon shift) from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and another in the afternoon (afternoon shift) from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Eligibility Criteria for GATE 2025:

• Candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility criteria before applying:
  • Currently in the third year or higher of their undergraduate degree program, or
  • Have completed a government-approved degree program in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities.

Application Process:

• The application process for GATE 2025 is scheduled to begin in August.
• Candidates are advised to regularly check the official GATE website for updates on the registration deadline and application procedure.

Exam Format and Language:

• GATE 2025 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
• There will be 30 test papers available in English.
• Scores obtained in GATE 2025 will remain valid for three years from the date of result publication.
