Last Chance for Data Corrections

Today marks the final opportunity for students in Class 10 and 12 to rectify any inaccuracies in their List of Candidates (LOC) data with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidates can make necessary updates by accessing the official CBSE website.

The CBSE has provided school principals with an additional chance to amend errors in the LOC for their students. This includes correcting details such as student names, parent names, birth dates, and subject selections.

Deadline Today

The correction window opened on October 13, 2025, and today, October 27, 2025, is the last day for updates. Schools that have not yet made the necessary changes must do so today, as no further modifications will be permitted afterward. Submitting incorrect information could result in complications related to admit card issuance, exam results, and certificate discrepancies.

Projected Student Participation

CBSE has announced that around 4.5 million students are expected to participate in the upcoming Class 10 and 12 board examinations this year.

Practical Exam Schedule Announced

The schedule for practical exams in 2026 has also been released, with practical assessments taking place from February 17 to July 15, 2026. These exams will be conducted from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., while certain subjects, like painting or automotive, will conclude by 12:30 p.m.

The board has cautioned that any information submitted without thorough verification by schools or parents may lead to future issues. Therefore, it is essential for everyone to meticulously check the student's information and rectify any mistakes today.

Key Points to Remember:

  • Ensure the student's name, date of birth, and parents' names are accurate and complete.

  • Include the surname, particularly for students planning to study abroad.

  • The date of birth should align with the passport, PAN card, or Aadhaar card.

  • Carefully select subjects, as no changes will be accepted after today’s deadline.
