Exciting Junior Officer Recruitment at South Indian Bank for 2026
SIB Junior Officer Recruitment 2026
South Indian Bank Limited has announced a recruitment drive for Junior Officers (Operations) in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified candidates looking to advance their careers in the banking industry. The online application process starts today.
Candidates can apply online until May 13, 2026. Eligible Indian citizens with a minimum of one year of experience in a bank or NBFC are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Criteria for Graduates
Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree in any field, with at least 50% marks overall. It is essential that the degree was obtained through a regular study mode (10+2+3 pattern), meaning all educational stages—SSLC/SSC, HSC, and Graduation—must have been completed in a traditional format.
Additionally, candidates must have at least one year of relevant work experience in the banking or NBFC sector and must be Indian citizens.
Regarding age limits, the maximum age for General Category candidates is set at 28 years as of March 31, 2026. Candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories are allowed a 5-year age relaxation, raising their upper age limit to 33 years.
Selection Process Overview
The selection may involve an Online Examination, followed by a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview.
The Online Examination will be the first step, and only candidates who pass this stage will be invited to participate in the Group Discussion and Interview.
Meeting the eligibility requirements does not guarantee participation in the selection process.
The Bank reserves the right to adjust the selection process based on the number of applications received and will determine how many candidates will be shortlisted for each stage.
The final decision regarding recruitment will be made solely by the Bank, and no inquiries or objections will be entertained.
Contractual Appointment Details
Selected candidates will be appointed as Junior Officers (Operations) on a 3-year contract basis.
Those who perform well may have the chance to be promoted to the regular position of Assistant Manager (Scale-I), subject to the bank's policies. Candidates may be required to work in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, or other locations across India, depending on operational needs. Proficiency in the local language will be an advantage.
