The National Testing Agency has released comprehensive instructions for candidates regarding the examination day. Are you aware of what items you can and cannot bring into the exam hall? This article will clarify all necessary details for you.
Permitted and Prohibited Items in the Exam Hall
Candidates are not allowed to bring the following items into the examination hall: instrument boxes, handbags, any type of paper or stationery (printed or handwritten), food and drinks (both loose and packaged), mobile devices, calculators, and any electronic gadgets including watches with calculator functions. Additionally, there will be no facilities at the examination center for storing valuable items.
However, diabetic candidates may bring sugar tablets, fruits like bananas, apples, or oranges, and clear water bottles. Packaged food items such as chocolates or sandwiches are not allowed.
Key Guidelines for Candidates
It is crucial for candidates to arrive at their examination center early. It is recommended to reach the venue between 30 minutes to 1 hour before the exam starts to avoid any last-minute issues. Entry will be denied after the gate closing time mentioned on the admit card.
Candidates must not forget to bring their admit card, as entry will be refused without it.
In addition to the admit card, candidates need to present the original ID proof submitted during the online application. Photocopies or digital images on mobile devices will not be accepted.
Candidates should also carry at least two passport-sized photographs to the examination center.
For those applying for B.Arch and B.Planning programs, Paper 2 will take place in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM on the last day of the examination.
