Name of Post: Junior Engineer, Maintainer, CRA, SC/TO etc.

DMRC Exam Pattern:

Candidates have to undergo three rounds for getting recruitment in DMRC

Examination will be conducted on two phases, Paper I and Paper II

Paper I: There will be 120 questions in this paper carrying 1 mark each and the time duration will be 90 minutes. For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted as negative marking.

Questions in this paper will be asked from General Awareness, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and knowledge of the discipline/ trade.

Paper II: This paper consists of 90 questions which will be answered in 45 minutes and for every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted as negative marking.

Question in this paper will be asked from English only.

DMRC Syllabus:

Paper I: It will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions bilingual (Hindi/ English) on GK, Logical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and/ knowledge of the discipline/ trade.

Quantitative Aptitude: Number System, HCF, LCM, Simplification, Decimal Fractions, Ratio and Proportions, Unitary Method, Percentage, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Profit and Loss, Average. Simple and Compound interest, Menstruation, Algebra and Data Interpretation.

General Awareness: Current Affairs, Abbreviations, full forms, finance, economics, budget, 5 year plans, important persons and organizations, awards, books and authors, inventions/ Discoveries.

Logical Ability/ Reasoning: Verbal: Series (number and alphabet), age, blood relations direction test, coding-decoding, arithmetical reasoning, decision making etc.

Non Verbal: Series, mirror image, figures etc.

Knowledge of Discipline/ Trade: basic knowledge of your discipline and trade.

Paper II: This paper is consists of 60 objective type questions of General English.

English Language: Basis of English, vocabulary, Grammar, sentence, English Language Test, synonyms/ antonyms, idioms etc.
