Delhi University Launches On-the-Spot Mop-Up Round for Undergraduate Admissions

Delhi University Admission Update
Delhi University (DU) has initiated an immediate mop-up round for the admission of around 9,000 undergraduate seats. Notably, applicants do not need a CUET UG score for this round. The admission process is scheduled from September 23 to September 29. It is essential for prospective students to familiarize themselves with the admission guidelines before applying.
Admission Criteria Based on Class 12 Marks
For those aspiring to enroll at Delhi University, there is good news. Admissions will now be determined by Class 12 marks rather than CUET UG scores. The mop-up round, which starts today, will utilize these 12th-grade scores for the available undergraduate seats.
Timeline for the Admission Process
The admission process will take place from September 23 to September 29. Initially, candidates from PwBD, SC, ST, and other categories will be prioritized. College representatives will be present during this process, which will occur at the multi-purpose hall in the DUK Sports Complex.
Important Admission Guidelines
Candidates who are already enrolled in a college or program are not eligible for this mop-up round.
Seat allocation will be deemed final, with no options for upgrades or withdrawals.
Once a seat is allocated, candidates must pay the fee online immediately; failure to do so will result in cancellation of the seat, which will then be offered to another candidate.
Candidates who do not arrive on time will lose their claim to the seat.
If any required documents are missing, the admission will be revoked immediately.
Guaranteed Admission in the Mop-Up Round
Being selected in this round guarantees admission. However, candidates should note that only two individuals may accompany them to the campus. It is crucial to adhere to all the aforementioned guidelines.
