The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results for this crucial examination, which is essential for admission into undergraduate programs. Candidates can now visit the official portal to view and download their scorecards. This year, the results were announced earlier than in previous years, providing universities and students with additional time to prepare for the admission process.


Early Announcement of Results

The results for CUET UG 2026 were declared in June, whereas they typically are released by July. Experts in the education sector believe that the early announcement will facilitate timely completion of the admission processes across various universities. A significant number of students seek admission to central, state, and private universities through this examination. Participation of Millions

Approximately 15.68 lakh candidates applied for CUET UG 2026, with the examination conducted from May 11 to June 7, 2026. Exam centers were established in 321 cities across India, as well as in 15 locations abroad. Exam Pattern and Evaluation Process

This year, students had the option to choose from a total of 37 subjects, including languages, domain-specific subjects, and a General Aptitude Test. Candidates could select up to five subjects. The evaluation system awarded five points for each correct answer, while one point was deducted for incorrect responses. No points were added or deducted for unanswered questions.


How to Download the Scorecard

To view their results, candidates must first visit the official CUET website. After clicking on the results link, they need to enter their application number and password or date of birth. Once the information is submitted, the scorecard will appear on the screen. Students can download it and keep a printed copy for future admission processes. The scorecard will include the candidate's name, roll number, obtained marks, and other essential details.
