The National Testing Agency (NTA) has initiated the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 for undergraduate (UG) courses. Interested candidates can apply for the exam until March 26 through the official websites — nta.ac.in and exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.

Important Dates and Exam Details:

  • Registration Deadline: March 26
  • Exam Dates: May 15 to May 31
  • Exam Centers: 380 cities (including 26 cities outside India)
  • Languages and Subjects: 33 languages, 27 subjects

Application Procedure:

  1. Visit Official Website: Go to exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.
  2. Registration: Click on the CUET 2024 registration link.
  3. Form Submission: Fill out the required information and complete the form online.
  4. Fee Payment: Pay the registration fee.
  5. Submission: Submit the form and print a copy for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must have completed their class 12 or be appearing for their class 12 examinations in the current academic year.

Important Instructions:

  • Application Edit Window: Open on March 28 and 29.
  • City of Examination: Notified from April 30 onwards.
  • Admit Cards: Available from the second week of May.
  • Results: Released on June 30.

Additional Details:

  • Candidates must attach formal passport-size photographs and scanned signature copies during the application process.
  • CUET UG 2024 score will be accepted by approximately 250 universities for admission to various first-year degree programs.
  • General category candidates require a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12, while SC/ST candidates need at least 45% marks.
