CTET 2026 Result: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for February 2026, organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), has successfully concluded. More than 2.5 million candidates participated in the exam held on February 7th and 8th across 140 cities in India. With the examination now complete, candidates are eagerly anticipating updates regarding the provisional answer key, response sheets, and the final results on ctet.nic.in.


Expected Release of the CTET Answer Key

Typically, CBSE publishes the answer key within a fortnight following the CTET exam. Candidates can expect the provisional answer key to be available on ctet.nic.in between February 17th and 23rd, 2026. They will need their roll number and date of birth to download it. Additionally, scanned copies of the OMR sheets will also be made accessible.


Objection Process for CTET 2026

CBSE CTET Objection Window: Following the release of the provisional answer key, CBSE will activate the 'Challenge' or 'Objection' window, which typically remains open for 2 to 3 days. Candidates who wish to contest any answers can do so by paying a fee of Rs. 1,000 (tentative) per question.
