Application Fee:
Candidates applying for the CSIR-UGC NET examination must pay the following application fees:
- General Candidates: Rs. 1150/-
- General-EWS/OBC-Non Creamy Layer Candidates: Rs. 600/-
- SC/ST/PWD/Third Gender Candidates: Rs. 325/-
Payment can be made through Debit/Credit Card, UPI, or Internet Banking via any payment gateway of SBI or ICICI.

Age Limit (as on 01-06-2024):
Candidates must adhere to the following age criteria:
- For JRF: Not more than 30 years
- For LS/Assistant Professor: No upper age limit
Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Qualification:
To be eligible for the CSIR-UGC NET examination, candidates should possess:
- M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR)/General-EWS and OBC candidates, and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.
