New Delhi: A significant update for the millions of students aspiring to study law. The wait for candidates who participated in CLAT 2026 is about to end, as both the results and the final answer key will be released simultaneously.
Once the results are published, candidates will be able to see their all-India rank and category rank, which will facilitate the admission process into national law universities.
Exam Details and Attendance Statistics
The Consortium of National Law Universities conducted the CLAT 2026 on December 7, 2025. This examination took place across 156 centers in 25 states, 93 cities, and 4 union territories. Out of 92,344 registered candidates, 96.83% at the undergraduate level and 92.45% at the postgraduate level participated in the exam.

How and Where to Access the Results
The results for CLAT 2026 will be made available exclusively online. Candidates can log in to the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in to view their scorecards. Upon logging in, their scorecard will be displayed on the screen. The final answer key will also be released alongside the results, allowing candidates to verify their scores accurately.

Information Provided on the Scorecard
The scorecard for CLAT 2026 will include the candidate's name, father's name, roll number, and application number. Additionally, it will display the category, section-wise marks, total marks, all-India rank, and category rank. This scorecard will serve as the basis for further counseling and admission processes.
Answer Key and Objection Process
The consortium released the provisional answer key for CLAT 2026 on December 10, 2025. Candidates who had objections regarding the answers were given the opportunity to submit their objections online until December 12 at 5 PM. The final answer key is now being published after reviewing these objections.
Pathway to Admission in NLUs
Based on the results of CLAT 2026, admissions will be granted to five-year courses such as BA LLB, BBA LLB, and BSc LLB. The ranks obtained will be crucial for securing admission into the country's top national law universities. Following the results, the counseling process will commence, allowing candidates to select their preferred NLUs.
