The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct offline parenting workshops in September 2025 aimed at principals, counselors, and wellness teachers. This initiative is being launched as an extension of the CBSE Parenting Calendar for the 2025–26 academic year. The primary goal of these workshops is to understand and address the social, academic, and emotional needs of students while providing practical strategies for their support.
Objectives of the Workshops
These workshops will focus on four key areas. Firstly, they will emphasize positive parenting practices to assist parents in supporting their children's mental well-being and overall development. Secondly, there will be a focus on digital well-being, enabling students to navigate the digital world in a balanced and safe manner. The third area will concentrate on resilience building, helping children develop the ability to remain stable in challenging situations and face difficulties. Lastly, the workshops will aim to foster strong collaboration between schools and families to better meet the social, academic, and emotional needs of students.
