Important Instructions from CBSE
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released crucial guidelines for students planning to take the JEE Main 2026 examination. The board has urged all affiliated schools to promptly provide the registration numbers for Class 11 students to prevent any issues during the application process. Numerous students and their parents have expressed concerns regarding schools' failure to supply this essential information. In response, CBSE has emphasized that the Class 11 registration number is a prerequisite for completing the JEE Main application form.
CBSE's Directive to Schools
CBSE has mandated that all affiliated institutions must deliver Class 11 registration numbers to students applying for the JEE Main 2026 exam without delay. This registration number is vital for the National Testing Agency (NTA) to authenticate students' details. However, many schools have been remiss in providing this information, leading to complications for students during the application process.
The board has acknowledged receiving multiple complaints from parents regarding this issue. Consequently, CBSE has reiterated that schools must ensure students receive their registration numbers promptly to facilitate timely application submissions.
