Introduction to CBSE Board Exams

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is gearing up for the upcoming 10th and 12th-grade board examinations scheduled to commence on February 17, 2026. An estimated 4.5 million students, both from India and overseas, are expected to participate. This year, the board is implementing enhanced measures to ensure a more transparent and secure examination process.

Mandatory CCTV Surveillance

CCTV cameras are mandatory at every exam center.

CBSE has introduced a new policy mandating the installation of CCTV cameras at all examination centers, both domestically and internationally. Schools must equip exam halls, corridors, entry and exit points, laboratories, and classrooms with cameras. Monitoring will extend to students' desks, ensuring that live recordings capture every moment of the exam, allowing for immediate investigation of any suspicious activities.

Informing Students About Surveillance

Students will be given complete information.

CBSE has directed schools to notify students about the CCTV surveillance system prior to the exams. This information will be disseminated through notice boards, handbooks, and orientation sessions, ensuring students are aware that their actions will be recorded during the examination. This initiative aims to promote discipline among students and uphold the integrity of the examination process.

Datesheet Released in Record Time

In a notable achievement, CBSE has released the datesheet for Class 10 and 12 exams a remarkable 110 days ahead of the examination dates. This advance notice provides students with ample time to prepare effectively and organize their study schedules.
