The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is preparing to unveil the results for the Class 12 examinations this month. Students can access their results through the official website, results.cbse.nic.in.


Anticipation is high among millions of students awaiting their results. Reports indicate that the CBSE will announce the Class 12 results soon, although an official date has yet to be confirmed.


Checking Results

Once the results are published, students can view their scores on the CBSE website. Additionally, results will be accessible via DigiLocker, the UMANG App, and the IVRS phone service. Students are encouraged to activate their DigiLocker accounts beforehand to facilitate the quick download of their digital mark sheets once the results are available.


Examination Schedule

The Class 12 exams were conducted from February 17 to April 10, 2026. The evaluation of answer sheets was completed swiftly. Historically, CBSE tends to release results in the second week of May.


Based on previous years' trends, it is expected that the Class 12 results for 2026 will also be announced around this time. For reference, results were released on May 13, 2024; May 12, 2023; and May 6, 2019.


Importance of DigiLocker Activation

The CBSE has emphasized the necessity for students to activate their DigiLocker accounts. This year, digital mark sheets, passing certificates, and migration certificates will be available through DigiLocker. Early activation will allow students to download their mark sheets immediately after the results are declared, using the 6-digit security PIN provided by their school.


Steps to Activate DigiLocker


  • Open the DigiLocker activation link.


  • Select Class 12.


  • Input your School Code.


  • Enter your Roll Number.


  • Provide the 6-digit Security PIN from your school.


  • Enter your Mobile Number.


  • Input the OTP received on your mobile.



Once the OTP is verified, your DigiLocker account will be successfully activated.


Checking Results via IVRS

For students without internet access, results can also be checked using the IVRS service.

During the call, students will need to enter their Roll Number and other required details to hear their marks.


How to Check Results Using the UMANG App


  • Log into the UMANG app.


  • Search for "CBSE" in the search bar.


  • Select "CBSE Class 12 Result 2026."


  • Enter your Roll Number and other necessary details.


  • Click 'Submit' to view your results.
